Pelican Plunge
This 2,400-square-foot floating platform—adorned with nautical Flotsam and Jetsam. At this water-play area and platform, which celebrates the island's native pelicans, take a ride on one of the 2 twisting water slides that carry you into the refreshing lagoon. Or, get soaked by the giant "bucket dump" that sprays hundreds of gallons of water on eagerly awaiting bathers beneath.

Spring-a-Leak
Kids can cool off at this 2,400-square-foot water play area and quench their thirst for adventure by exploring the “remnants” of a washed-away beach dwelling. The splashing fun begins as they enter the storm-ravaged structure and are greeted by dripping pipes, broken plumbing and hissing misters that have been exposed and twisted by the tropical tempest that “wiped out” the original structure.

Teen Hideout
Teen Hideout is just what it’s named for: a place where teens 14 to17 years of age can lounge—carefree—in their very own slice of paradise.

Scuttle's Cove
The youngest cruisers will enjoy this kid’s club—a "hub" of youth activities supervised by Disney counselors from the ship. This sandy play spot features a whimsical water play area: a 1,200-square-foot soft wet deck area provides fresh-water fun with an array of pop jets, geysers and bubblers. Enchantment abounds in an island city off the eastern coast of Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula.

Local Culture and Flavor
Cozumel is approximately 30 miles long and 9 miles wide, with a population of about 175,000. Life on the island itself is rich in Mayan and Mexican culture. The majority of Cozumel residents live in San Miguel, leaving the rest of the island largely untouched and covered in lush vegetation. Heavily dependent on its thriving tourist trade, Cozumel holds irresistible attractions for vacationers interested in bargain shopping, island life, leisure, water sports and archaeological curiosities. The famous Pre-Columbian Xelha Mayan ruins are a perennial draw, and a unique place to visit for a taste of the island's ancient history.

Past and Present
The site of an old civilization indeed, Cozumel was settled by Mayans by the first century AD. They considered the site sacred to the Moon Goddess, Ixchel. The Spanish arrived at the island in 1518 and it became an outpost for pirates until 1848, when warfare in the Yucatan drove refugees to settle there. A boom in visitors occurred after 1959, when the famed Jacques Cousteau publicized Cozumel's coral reefs as among the best in the world for scuba diving. Today, Guests of Disney Cruise Line can let their imaginations take flight in the island the Mayans named Cozumel, also known as the "Island of the Swallows,” so long ago.

The main pool and nearby whirlpool spas welcome Guests 18 years of age and older to relax, refresh and bathe in the warmth of the sun. You can also sip on cocktails and specialty coffees, read books and magazines, or watch TV at nearby Cove Café. If the temperature drop below 75 degrees Fahrenheit, the pool will be heated

While the Edge experience aboard each pair of ships differs, the design behind them stays the same: Edge provides tweens with their own luxurious hangout where they can connect with other tweens from all over the world. Equipped with flat-screen TVs, computers and video games and featuring daily guided activities, this space is surely going to become your tween’s favorite spot on the ship.

Though operating hours may vary, Edge is open daily, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 AM. Check the Personal Navigator newsletter or Disney Cruise Line Navigator mobile app while onboard the ship for exact hours.

Located on all Disney Cruises, Vibe provides your teen with their own special place where they can take time for themselves, while they connect with other teens from around the world. Designed suitable for any teen each lounge is loaded with facilities and activities that will keep them occupied and entertained while persuading them to mingle. With so much to do, Vibe is going to become your teen’s favorite spot on the ship! Even though Vibe is designated as a teens-only hangout, Vibe does has chaperons, in a laid-back way of course. Disney wants to keep your teen safe but allow them to feel as unrestricted and comfortable as they can possibly be.
