Disney Destination: George Town, Grand Cayman (video)

There is plenty to see and do in Grand Cayman! Hike through a 65-acre woodland reserve, visit a seaside village with a curious name and shop 'til you drop on George Town's fashionable Cardinal Avenue. If you choose to take a tour, don't miss the rum cake samples at the rum factory—but beware, the rum is real!

Shopping
Watches, china, perfumes, jewelry, leather, rum cakes, local crafts and treasure coins are available at reduced prices at George Town's shops on Grand Cayman. Meander your way through the main district on Cardinal Avenue, home to well-known jewelers, galleries specializing in local artwork and clothing boutiques. In April, you can also celebrate Cayfest with musicians, cooks and artists!
Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park
Discover a treasure trove of mahoganies, agave thickets, native palms and cacti in this peaceful 65-acre woodland reserve, along with such animal species as the Cayman blue iguana, the West Indian whistling duck and the majestic Cayman parrot.
Hell
Send a postcard from this seaside village's post office and add a quirky postmark to your collection of souvenirs and curiosities. There are also novelty items to purchase "from Hell,” and photos to snap along Hell's beautiful coastline, which—paradoxically—looks like sheer paradise. A guided tour of Hell is available as part of various Port Adventures.
Pedro St. James Historic Site
History springs to life at the birthplace of democracy in the Cayman Islands. Once known as Pedro Castle, this structure was built in 1780. The picturesque structure burned to the ground in 1989, but has been meticulously restored and declared a national landmark.
Cayman Islands National Museum
Visit this marvelous museum, dedicated to preserving artifacts related to the history and culture of the islands. Located in buildings dating back to the late 19th century, the museum showcases time-tested methods of rope-making, fishing and roof-thatching.
